Trygg (Faroe Isles) selects Track for TIA From IT-Freedom Limited
IT-Freedom has secured its first TIA user for the ICE Track™ for TIA proposition. The Faroe Insurance Company (FIC) is the Faroe Islands leading insurer with 80% of the home market. They have invested heavily in technology recently to help them maintain their dominant position. This culminated in the implementation of the TIA general insurance transaction system two years ago to replace five existing line of business systems.
IT-Freedom has created ICE Track for TIA to provide sophisticated, yet easy to access Management Information with its’ World Programming Company (WPC) partner for insurers who are looking for an effective solution to their information needs that can be implemented quickly.
The brief to IT-Freedom from FIC was to provide a comprehensive business and management information solution for their many different products in a cost-effective manner and in a short time period. IT-Freedom had already created a core ICE Track system and the project consists of a detailed requirements and data analysis phase, followed by configuration and implementation of FIC specifics. FIC will be able to produce their required reports within three months of the data analysis exercise commencing. This will provide a solid information platform for the planned FIC business model. FIC will provide the reporting tool to their head office and branch users.

We then moved quickly to get the project started before the end of 2003 with a view to having useful information available to us in the first quarter of 2004.
