Harvey Mitchell

Harvey joined IT-Freedom in 2012, having previously worked with IT-Freedom on a consultancy basis.  He trained in commerce whilst working for large FTSE quoted multinationals, initially in management accounting and system accounting roles, culminating in being Chief Accountant for the technology division Thorn Software, and heading up a team of 35 at 27 years old.

He has over twenty years’ experience working in financial and general management for both US and UK technology companies both domestically and internationally, in small venture capital backed scenarios and Fortune 500 quoted groups. More recently he jointly led the management buy-out of the UK subsidiary of a California based software company, through its rapid domestic growth to its successful sale.

He is experienced both financially and operationally, having consistently headed up Finance, Operations, HR, IT, Systems, Legal, Facilities and Risk Management during this time in countries as far apart as Australia and Sweden, and as diverse as France and Germany.

Harvey is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and has an MBA from Surrey European Management School at the University of Surrey.
